Raising funds through online concerts
During the Coronavirus 2020 lockdown, the Academy of Ancient Music (AAM) wanted to reach out to their supporters to encourage them to get behind an emergency campaign to support their musicians. Not having undertaken a campaign of this kind before, the team wanted a straight-forward way for their donors to give and the DONATE platform was the ideal solution.
How DONATE™ was used
The fundraising team set about developing an emergency fundraising effort, appealing to their email subscribers (3000 of them) and hosting weekly Streaming Sunday’s on YouTube. These Streaming Sunday sessions reach new as well as exising audiences where the power of music can be enjoyed by all.
